About VANDA vel

VANDA vel is a world of scent, skin, clothing and objects.

Created by Ewa and Milan in Newport, the brand began with perfume oils and slowly expanded into a wider world - pheromone oils, ritual balms, altered garments and objects made to be lived with.

VANDA vel draws from two very different backgrounds. Ewa grew up in Poland and trained in European theatre and visual arts before working across costume, set and visual storytelling. Milan grew up between Australia and Africa, shaped by coastal life, film and image-making.

Together, they build VANDA vel from a shared attraction to things with character - scent worn close to the skin, found materials, strange objects, atmosphere and pieces that feel personal.

The brand sits somewhere between European memory and Australian coastal life -  instinctive, tactile and made to be lived with.

One-off altered garments built from found materials, reworked forms and pieces with history.

Atelier
Objects, sculptural forms and collected pieces for the spaces we live in.
