About the Founder
VANDA vel was founded by Ewa vel Szreter, who grew up in Poland and made her home on the Australian coast. She trained in dramatic arts and spent years working in theatre - on stage and across costume, sets and visual storytelling.
Theatre taught her that atmosphere can tell you almost everything before anybody says a word. A room, a piece of clothing, an object, a smell - all of it changes how something feels.
Scent became especially important to her because of memory.
